What is the full process from booking to completed cleaning?

Once you book your cleaning through Skrub Klub, here’s exactly what to expect:

1. Booking Confirmation

After booking, you will receive a confirmation email with your appointment details.

2. Intake Form

You will also receive a required intake form that must be completed before your scheduled cleaning.

This form helps us prepare for your property and ensures we arrive with the correct expectations and supplies.

⚠️ If the form is not completed before our arrival, we are unable to proceed with the cleaning and the appointment may be canceled, subject to our late cancellation policy.

3. Cleaning Day

On the day of your appointment:

  • Our team arrives at your scheduled time
  • We complete the cleaning based on your selected service
  • Before and after photos are taken for quality assurance

4. After the Cleaning

Within 24 hours of your completed service, you will receive a Post-Cleaning Email from skrubs@skrubklub.com.

This email includes:

  • Appointment details (team members, duration, total cost)
  • Summary of how the cleaning went
  • Any issues, concerns, damages, or missing items
  • Completed inventory or checklist notes (if applicable)
  • Before and after photos
  • Referral codes or coupons (if available)
  • Skrub Klub updates or announcements

5. Important Note

If you do not receive your post-cleaning email within 24 hours, please check your spam or junk folder.

How does pricing work?

Our services are offered at flat-rate pricing based on the number of bedrooms in the property.

Will I receive an estimate before booking?

Since our services are flat-rate, pricing is displayed during booking.

If your property has more than eight bedrooms or requires specialized services, please contact us for a custom quote.

What if my property is larger than 8 bedrooms or has special requirements?

Properties with more than 8 bedrooms, unusual layouts, or special cleaning requirements are considered custom jobs and may require a personalized quote.

This includes homes with multiple structures, large estates, heavy turnover demands, or any request that falls outside our standard service packages.

If your property falls into this category, please contact us to complete our intake form, and we’ll review the details and provide a customized estimate before confirming your appointment.

Do you bring your own cleaning supplies?

Yes. Our team arrives fully equipped with professional cleaning supplies and equipment needed to complete the service.

For Airbnb/Short Term Rental properties, we do not provide replacement consumables such as paper products, soaps, or guest supplies. However, if supplies are available on-site, we can restock them for you.

Do you offer eco-friendly or fragrance-free cleaning products?

Not currently, but we are actively working toward offering eco-friendly and fragrance-free options in the future.

Do pets need to be removed during service?

Yes. We ask that pets not be present during cleaning appointments.

Since we primarily service move-in, move-out, and Airbnb properties, this is usually not an issue.

Does someone need to be present during the cleaning?

No.

You will provide entry instructions during booking,which includes the option to be present during the service if you prefer.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all payment methods supported through Square Appointments, including major credit and debit cards and Google Pay.

When is payment due?

Full Payment is due at the time of booking.

Why do you require full payment at the time of booking?

To secure your appointment and ensure we can reserve enough time and staff for your cleaning, we require full payment at the time of booking.

This allows us to:

  • Guarantee your selected date and time is held exclusively for you
  • Properly schedule our cleaning team and resources
  • Reduce last-minute cancellations and no-shows
  • Keep our pricing fair and consistent for all customers

Because each appointment is reserved specifically for your home, we are unable to hold or guarantee booking slots without payment.

This prevents scheduling gaps, last-minute cancellations, and ensures our team is assigned and dispatched specifically for your service.

If you need to make changes or reschedule, we’re happy to help as long as we receive notice within our cancellation policy window.

Why do you require a card on file?

We require a valid card on file for all bookings to reserve your appointment time and protect our team’s schedule.

Our team sets aside dedicated time for each appointment. Late cancellations, lockouts, duplicate service arrangements, or other situations that prevent us from performing the scheduled work may be subject to cancellation fees in accordance with our cancellation policy.

What is your reschedule or cancellation policy?

We kindly request at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling requests.

Appointments canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee (up to 50% of the full cleaning fee).

What is your Make It Right Guarantee?

How long does a cleaning take?

Cleaning times vary depending on the size and condition of the property.

Move-in/move-out and Airbnb cleanings typically take anywhere from 2 to 8+ hours depending on the number of bedrooms, bathrooms, and overall condition of the home. WE have time estimates for every property size that you will see upon checkout.

We always prioritize quality and thoroughness over speed to ensure the best possible result. We do not charge by the hour. Our rates are flat, so you’ll never have to worry about us running over time just to get more money!

How many cleaners will arrive?

Skrub Klub currently operates with a professional team of three cleaners.

At least two team members will be present at every cleaning, and most appointments will be serviced by all three team members.

Do you clean inside ovens?

For both Airbnb/Short Term Rental and Move In/Move Out cleans, we clean the stovetop and outside of the oven. We do check the inside to ensure there’s no food or anything else left in the oven, but we do not clean the inside of the oven.

Oven deep cleans will be available soon as an add on for an extra charge.

Do you clean inside refrigerators?

For both Airbnb/Short Term Rental and Move In/Move Out cleans, we spot clean the inside and outside of the fridge and freezer.

We do also check the inside to ensure there’s no food or anything else left in the fridge, but we do not remove drawers or deep clean the inside of the fridge.

Refrigerator deep cleans will be available soon as an add on for an extra charge.

Do you clean interior windows?

For Move In/Move Out cleans, we clean accessible interior windows that can be safely reached without special equipment.

For Airbnb/Short Term Rental cleans, interior window cleans will be available soon as an add on for an extra charge.

Do you provide laundry service?

Yes. Laundry service is included with our Airbnb/Short Term Rental Turnover Cleaning package.

If your unit does not have a washer and dryer, you will have the option to select the linens be washed at the nearest laundromat at no extra charge.

Laundry service is not available for Move In/Move Out cleans.

Do you wash dishes?

Yes. Dishwashing is included with our Airbnb/Short Term Rental Turnover Cleaning package.

Do you take before-and-after photos?

Yes.

Every clean. Every time.

We document every cleaning with before-and-after photos and provide those images to our clients.

You may choose whether or not to allow us to use photos from your property for our website, portfolio, or social media. We never share addresses, personal information, identifying details, neighboring properties, or occupants.

If we wish to record video during a cleaning, we will always request permission beforehand.

What is an Appliance Check for Airbnb/STR properties?

The Appliance Check is a customized checklist provided by the property owner.

You’ll tell us which major appliances, electronics, and important items should be present in the property and where they are located.

During each turnover, we’ll verify those items are present and report any missing or visibly damaged items.

What don’t you clean?

For safety and liability reasons, we do not currently provide:

  • Biohazard cleanup
  • Hoarding cleanup
  • Mold remediation
  • Pest infestation cleanup
  • Exterior window cleaning
  • Trash bin or garbage can cleaning
  • Carpet cleaning
  • Upholstery cleaning

We also do not move heavy furniture or items during service.

We also do not dispose of any large, heavy, or oversized trash. If you have large amounts of junk or trash to remove, please consult a junk removal service such as Junk Frog.

As our equipment and service offerings expand, some of these services may become available in the future, so check back often!

What happens if my property is excessively dirty?

If a property is significantly more dirty than a standard residential or turnover clean, we may need to adjust the scope of work before or during service.

This includes situations such as:

  • Excessive trash or debris
  • Heavy buildup of grime or grease
  • Long periods without cleaning
  • Pest-related mess or biohazard conditions
  • Hoarding-level conditions

In these cases, additional time, fees, or a custom quote may be required to complete the cleaning properly.

If the condition is beyond what is safe or reasonable to clean under our standard service, we reserve the right to pause or cancel the appointment, subject to our cancellation policy.
